The Fall @ Melbourne Festival Hub
It’s just under an hour we’ve been waiting for The Fall to begin when I start to wonder if the classically irate Mark E. Smith is out the back chucking a tanty – or whether he’s just testing the audiences patience. When the lights dim and whack-ass electronic alien music begins to play for seven minutes, I settle with the latter.
